Review: Great experience from first inquiry to payment and beyond. Drew P (our salesperson) was empathetic, patient, and helpful. The pricing was fair and he took sincere interest in getting everything done properly. With a pool and many plant/shrub beds around our home, cleanup was quite important to us and Drew ensured we had extra “magnet sweeps” to get that done properly. Whole crew including foreman and supervisor were excellent.

Review: We received (3) reasonable quotes from reputable roofing companies this past spring. Each quote quantified the scope in slighting different ways. I reached out to each company with clarifying questions. Ken Kelly with Jamar Roofing & Sheet Metal was the most punctual and thorough with responses as well as flexible with the needed siding sub coordination. Between our overall budget and my work schedule, the project was not able to get started until this past October. During this time, Ken checked in periodically to inquire about the project while the other companies did not. This type of follow up seems more rare these days and showed that he truly wanted our business and that they care.Prior to signing the contract, additional questions arose regarding the applicability of the manufacturer's warranty requirements to our (95) year old house as well as recent building code changes. Ken was very patient with working through my quandaries and providing options to insure that we were working within the manufacturer's warranty guidelines. Ken was also beyond patient as I continued deliberation on low-slope roofing options after the contract had been signed. He was always available by phone or text messaging as my schedule allowed.For the gutter and downspout scope, Jacob Taggart was very cognizant of our budget and only replaced what was needed. He came up with clever flashing details to direct the water into the gutters in a handful of locations. He also worked with our revised gutter design and insured that it was properly installed. His crew worked seamlessly with the siding contractor to get the wall flashing installed prior to the new siding. With the recent rains, their added gutter design to a tricky area of the house as well as the flashing designs have improved drainage tremendously.Last item to note, as we worked through construction items, I noticed a bit of an unsightly head wall flashing condition. Between work and this project, my bandwidth was quite low. I went ahead and paid each contract in full despite the condition. Much to my surprise, Ken had his crew come back out to address the aesthetic concern, which is a testament to their integrity and quality of customer service. Also, the warranty was quickly registered with a copy emailed to us.It was a true pleasure working with JaMar Roofing & Sheet Metal. Their work ethic and dedication to the profession are top notch. I can't thank them enough for their great work!
